GLP1Compared.co.uk is an independent price comparison website for GLP-1 weight loss medications available in the UK. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

2. What data we collect
Price tip submissions
When you use the "Seen a cheaper price?" form on any price table, you can optionally submit information about a pharmacy price you have found. This form collects:
- Pharmacy name
- Medication and dose
- Price
- URL of the page where you saw the price (optional)
- Any additional notes you provide (optional)
The tip form does not ask for, and you should not include, your name, email address, or any other personal information. Any personal information inadvertently included in a tip submission will be removed before the submission is used.
Analytics
We use analytics to understand how the site is used — for example, which pages are visited and how users navigate between them. This data is collected in aggregate and is not used to identify individual users. If we use a third-party analytics service such as Google Analytics, this is disclosed in the cookies section below.
Referral tracking
When you click a "Visit" link to a pharmacy, you may be redirected via an affiliate tracking link. This allows us and affiliate networks to record that a referral came from this site. The tracking data collected at this point is handled by the affiliate network (such as Awin) and the pharmacy, not by us. We do not receive personal information about you as a result of a referral click.
Server logs
Like all websites, our server automatically records standard technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, and the time of your visit. This data is used for security and technical purposes only and is not linked to any personal identity.

4. Third parties
Affiliate networks
We participate in affiliate programmes through networks including Awin. When you click a referral link to a pharmacy, your click may be tracked by the affiliate network to attribute the referral to us. Awin's privacy policy is available at awin.com/gb/privacy. The pharmacy you visit will also have its own privacy policy governing any data you provide during a consultation or purchase.
Analytics
If we use Google Analytics, data is processed by Google in accordance with their privacy policy. We use IP anonymisation where available. Google Analytics data is not shared with any other third party by us.
Hosting
This site is hosted by a third-party web hosting provider. They process server log data as part of providing the hosting service, under a data processing agreement with us.
We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share personal data with third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes.
5. Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. This site uses the following types of cookies:

6. How long we keep data
Price tip submissions are retained for as long as they are operationally useful — typically until the price has been verified and updated, after which the raw submission is deleted. Server log data is retained for up to 90 days for security purposes. Analytics data retention is governed by the settings of the analytics service used.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), you have the following rights in relation to any personal data we hold about you:
- Right of access — you can request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
- Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Right to erasure — you can ask us to delete personal data in certain circumstances
- Right to object — you can object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Right to restrict processing — you can ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@glp1compared.co.uk. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
In practice, given that the tip form does not collect identifying information and we do not hold user accounts, most requests will not involve personal data held by us. If you are concerned about data held by a pharmacy you visited through this site, you should contact that pharmacy directly.
